This E.M. Reitz shirt is a coy pullover top that at feels both understated and dramatic. Inspired by my love of sculpture, this shirt is built on the foundation of a seamless rectangle yoke. The base of the yoke folds into a flange that creates a flat ruffle leading to a generous breezy silhouette. The top of the garment is presented in a 1 3/8” mock neck collar. The tapered sleeve ends in a turn back hem and an angled pleat. Sealed with one shell button.

The back neck has a two button closure that is easily opened and closed by oneself.

The back yoke miters to an angle in the center, and reveals a slit that is finished with a petite binding, reminiscent of a feminine underpinning.

The back is draped to create a romantic dramatic pleat landscape. It is billowy, freeing, and romantic.

The shirt reads more modern, severe, almost monastic at the front.

The back brings an explosion of folding that feels like petals unfolding from a blooming flower.

This fabric is 100% cotton with a soft yet structured hand-feel. The weave is a very small Oxford with a barely noticeable visual texture.
